A simpler faucet upgrade: what to know before installation
A faucet replacement starts with finding a fixture that suits your sink and existing setup. A little preparation makes the installation request easier to review.
Choose a compatible fixture
Before buying, check the faucet’s installation requirements against your sink or countertop configuration. Share the model and product specifications with the installer if you are unsure. Mention accessories or existing features that could affect the replacement.
Know what you are supplying
Our listed faucet installation price is $149 for a standard installation. The faucet is not included. You provide the fixture. Confirm compatibility, access, required parts and the final scope before scheduling.
Describe the area below the sink
Tell the installer about tight access, visible leaks, existing connection concerns or other equipment under the sink. Keep the area accessible for the installation and confirm any specific preparation instructions.
Ask these questions before the visit
- Is my selected faucet compatible with the existing sink and plumbing?
- Are any additional fittings or connection parts needed?
- Does the agreed scope include removal of the old faucet?
- Would any existing plumbing condition require additional work?
The simplest request includes the faucet model, your location and a short description of the current setup. Include your preferred date and time window, with the understanding that availability still needs confirmation.
Keep the complete scope clear
Review the price and all inclusions before work starts. If a project involves changes beyond a standard fixture replacement, ask for those details to be explained separately.
