Getting your home ready for installation

A practical preparation checklist for your next plumbing installation.

Gather your project details

Keep the selected service, fixture model and relevant product information together. Note any existing leaks, unusual connections or known problems. Sharing these details early helps the installer review the work before a date is confirmed.

Make the work area accessible

Clear a practical path to the fixture and describe stairs, narrow spaces or other access limitations. For sink projects, make the area below the sink accessible. Ask for any preparation instructions specific to your installation before moving equipment or disconnecting anything.

Have customer-supplied fixtures ready

If you are planning a toilet or faucet installation, you provide the fixture. Confirm compatibility before the visit and keep its product information available. For water heaters and garbage disposals, confirm the proposed model and who is supplying equipment as part of the service scope.

Review the appointment and warranty details

A preferred date submitted online is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Confirm availability, the complete price and the agreed inclusions before work begins. Installation workmanship is covered by our 30-day workmanship warranty after completion. Contact us about a workmanship concern within that period; product warranties are separate.

Serving Colorado Springs, Denver, Castle Rock and Parker. Share your setup so availability and the full installation scope can be confirmed.
