Planning a water heater replacement: what to confirm first
A clear replacement plan starts with the water heater you already have. Gather a few details before choosing a date so the equipment and installation scope can be reviewed together.
Start with your existing heater
Have the brand, model number and capacity ready. Note whether your current heater uses gas or electricity and where it is located. If you are unsure, share the information on the equipment label with the installer rather than guessing.
Describe the space and access
A heater in a basement, utility closet or other tight space can involve different access considerations. Mention stairs, narrow doorways or anything that could make reaching the unit difficult. This helps keep the installation conversation specific to your home.
Our installations include a 30-day workmanship warranty after completion. Product or manufacturer warranties are separate.
Ask what the replacement includes
- Which replacement model and capacity are being proposed?
- Are the heater itself, required parts and old-unit removal included?
- Does the scope involve permits, connection changes or other additional work?
- What warranty terms apply to the equipment and installation?
Our listed water heater price is $1,500 for most standard water heaters. Confirm the equipment specifications and complete scope before scheduling. Tankless systems, conversions and nonstandard setups require a separate review.
Request a date after reviewing the scope
The online scheduling form collects your preferred date and time window. It does not display live availability or confirm an appointment. Include the details above with your request so the next conversation can focus on your installation.
